Having worked with individuals from some of the leading families globally over the last decade, Britta Gruenig Castelli specialises in supporting the successors of family offices on their journey of finding meaning, purpose, fulfillment and having conscious impact.
Nobody inherits a meaningful life. Britta dedicates herself to work with the next generation of wealth owners who choose to live their lives with zest, authenticity, connection and purpose. She supports next gens in creating rich and deeply fulfilling lives, fostering their leadership potential and skills, and making a difference in the world - in line with their values.
Each family office is different. Britta tailors her approach to fit the specific needs of her clients. Each client however can count on her holistic listening skills, sound intuition and deep curiosity. She is able to make her clients see things from a higher perspective and gain clarity. Britta has the integrity to challenge when needed, and is a catalyst for transformation.
Britta is the Head of Wealth Owner Programs at the Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth of the University of Zurich (CSP). The CSP is best known for the Impact Investing for the Next Generation Program it runs jointly with the Initiative for Responsible Investment at Harvard University.
She is responsible for the executive education programs the CSP offers to private investors, connecting its over 100 former participants globally, and giving workshops. She complements the technical expertise of the CSP with her enthusiasm for supporting the successors of family offices in creating meaningful lives. She loves community building and conscious leadership development.
During her eleven year career at UBS, she served in different positions but with a unique focus: wealth management, family offices and next generation. As Director of UBS Dialogue, she was the only person in the bank at that time to dedicate herself exclusively to the next generation of the world's family offices.
She designed and led peer to peer next gen events, ran experiential learning programs and workshops in Europe, the Middle East and Asia and moderated at a Campden Wealth Conference in the United States. Topics included family business transition, mental health, fulfillment, passion, legacy, entrepreneurship, technology, philanthropy, impact and art collecting.
Britta worked two years in Asia, engaging in communication and PR for a consulting firm in Shanghai, innovation-focused diplomacy for the Swiss Embassy in Singapore and community development for a grassroots NGO in the Indian desert.
Britta is a professional Co-Active Coach and Co-Active Leader. Co-Active Professional Coach Training is widely recognized as the most rigorous professional coach training and certification program in the industry, accredited by the International Coach Federation. As the largest and most established in-person professional coach training organization in the world, The Co-Active Training Institute has trained over 62,000 coaches, including employees in more than a third of the Fortune 100 companies.
She has a scholarship-supported Master of Arts in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor from the University of St. Gallen and the Singapore Management University.
Britta is also an enthusiastic visual artist who studied at Parsons in NYC.
